VACAVILLE, Calif. – The Northern California Section of the PGA is pleased to announce that the 2006 Northern California Open Pro-Am will be held Sunday, September 24 at Saddle Creek Resort in Copperopolis, Calif.
The event will commence with registration at 10:30 a.m., a shotgun start at noon, followed by an early dinner banquet and awards ceremony. The entry fee is $225 for amateur players, includes all contest fees, green and cart fees, a Nike Golf tee gift package, lunch and gourmet dinner as well as team prizes.
"This pro-am will give players of all levels a terrific golfing experience not only because of the premier venue, but also because of the tremendous prizes we are able to give away to the winners of the special contests scheduled to be held throughout the day," said Carol Pence, director of Growth of the Game.
Participants of the NCO Pro-Am will have the chance to win prizes with a total value over $200,000 courtesy of Foresters. Amateurs and professionals alike gain entry in the Foresters Putting, Chipping, Closest to the Pin and Hole in One Contests.
The Northern California Open Pro-Am is presented by Black Oak Casino, Foresters, Nike Golf and Sundog Eyewear. Proceeds from the event will benefit the NCPGA Growth of the Game Initiatives.
