Gastonia, NC- AccuFLEX Golf reported today that it’s new CREATION shaft captured it’s second victory in a row on the Sunbelt Senior Tour at The Myrtle Beach Senior Challenge. The new CREATION shaft was in the driver of the winner, Steve Thomas, who shot rounds of 66, 70, and 70 at The Long Bay Club in Longs, SC.
In addition to the CREATION shaft in his driver, Thomas was using an AccuFLEX Icon HL in both of his hybrids and an AccuFLEX Icon Heavyweight in his 3 wood.
The winner of the event qualified for the US Senior Open this year and had a lot of success on the PGA Tour back in the ’80’s. He is really looking forward to competing on the Champions Tour, now that he is finally eligible to play.
