Orlando, FL – Rife Putters would like to congratulate the T2nd Place Finisher who used a Rife Island Series Barbados putter at the Valero Texas Open held at The Resort Course at LaCantera Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. The Tour Player was T-6th going into the final round on Sunday and posted a final round of 68 to capture the 2nd Place Finish and earn a paycheck for $298,666.00. This runner-up finish at The Valero Texas Open moved him up 13 spots on the PGA Tour Money List, bringing his current earnings up to $1,368,032.00 for the season.
"He’s been on an amazing run these past 6 weeks," said Matt Molloy, COO of Rife Putters. "With several Top 5 Finishes like this over the past 2 months it’s just a matter of time before he breaks through and captures his 1st PGA Tour Victory."
All four of the Tour Players who had Rife putters in their bags at The Valero Texas Open this past weekend made the cut and along with the T-2nd Place Finish, Rife captured three Top 25 Finishes as well.
Rife Putters ranked as the #1 putter company on the Tour amongst those that do not pay their players, and ahead of several companies that do. Rife Putters finished 6th on the Darrell Survey overall at The Valero Texas Open, which says a lot about the performance of their putters in an industry where endorsements are the norm. On the PGA Tour, where players have to depend upon their equipment to earn a paycheck, it’s remarkable that so many of them turn down the endorsement money offered by other manufacturers and choose to play a Rife putter instead. It’s obvious that Rife’s RollGroove Technology has been recognized by many of the top players in the world and they’re playing a Rife putter simply because it outperforms the competition.
All of Rife’s Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and new Island Series, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie Aline System.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
