STEVE MARINO, Playing Pinfire Putter Goes LOW – 59!

October 3, 2006

Playing in the Grey Goose Tour’s Sidney Frank Memorial Tour Championship at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ, Steve Marino shot a record breaking third round score of 59. He went into Sunday with a 7 stroke lead, and improved on that to win in Tiger like fashion with a 10 stroke victory of -27 under and a $60,000 payday.

Marino switched to his Pinfire Golf Eagle putter in mid-July and has been in the money ever since, but this win is a league all its own. As "Dirty Dan," Marino’s caddie put it; "He was pouring in everything he looked at."

Congratulations Stephen!
