LAKE MARY, FL (Oct. 3, 2006) – Deadline for nominations in 12 categories of the 14th Annual ING Industry Honors is Monday, Oct. 9. Nominations are accepted from any person or company in the golf industry or from media members.
The International Network Of Golf is a non-profit, media-based networking organization whose mission is to enhance and promote communication and education in golf. The ING Industry Honors were created to recognize outstanding achievement in various business categories.
Category chairs of the 12 categories and the ING Industry Honors committee will review nominations and trim the entries to the top three in each category. ING members will then vote to determine the winners, who will be announced and recognized at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando Jan. 27, 2007. Each winner receives a beautiful statue from Everything Metal Imaginable.
ING exists to bring golf media together with representatives from all walks of the golf industry to discuss issues, exchange information and improve communication. The group, which was formed 17 years ago, hosts the annual ING Spring Conference June 3-7, 2007 at Turning Stone Resort & Casino near Syracuse, NY. Educational seminars, product testing, an appointment show and networking opportunities highlight schedule.
