Company Offers High-Tech Club Fitting Discounts to EWGA Members

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, October 4, 2006 – GolfTEC, a national chain of independently-owned golf improvement facilities, has become a sponsor for the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA). The company is offering EWGA member discounts on lesson programs as well as one-hour TECFit club fitting sessions. GolfTEC is also promoting the organization to the thousands of women golfers who utilize their 63 indoor locations in 15 states.
"It’s a natural fit. GolfTEC instruction facilities are located in the same cities as our EWGA chapters," says Pam Swensen, CEO of the EWGA. "Our members are always looking for ways to improve their game as well as to welcome more women into the sport and the EWGA."
Founded in 1995, GolfTEC is based in Denver, Colorado and now has locations open from coast to coast. Its growing network of independently owned instruction facilities provides expert teaching for players of all skill levels. GolfTEC features certified personal coaches who combine superior technology with a proven teaching approach to help players achieve lasting improvement. Its custom TECFit club fitting system ensures proper lie angles, shaft flex and set makeup. For more information and GolfTEC locations see www.golftec.com
"We’re excited about this opportunity to work together with the EWGA to help more women improve and enjoy the game. As we continue to grow across the country, our opportunity to help the EWGA’s individual chapters will increase," said Joe Assell, GolfTEC’s President and Founder.
Since the EWGA started in 1991, more than 80,000 women have benefited from membership in the organization which is dedicated to providing opportunities to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life. There are currently 120 chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
EWGA chapters provide a wide range of golf, social and networking activities for both new and experienced golfers. A welcoming environment, golf education and player development, and organized play programs are part of the many benefits of EWGA membership.
Celebrating its 15th Anniversary in 2006, the EWGA is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. For more information about the association and membership, visit www.ewga.com.
