The Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development is pleased to share that their 2021 annual fundraising is off and running with the kickoff of the 10th Annual “Little Golf, Big Purpose” 100 Hole Marathon!
For many, 2020 brought a mixed bag of both heartache and hope…Little Linksters felt this as well. The Good, included a huge influx of kids taking part in golf and the various programs that Little Linksters offers…and even more kids that had an interest in trying. The Bad, while Little Linksters did what they could, because fundraising efforts in 2020 where at one of their lowest points in their 12-year history, they were not able to create nearly as many scholarships as they needed. The Good, Little Linksters friends at the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation came up big time in funding for Linksters GOALS special needs programming. The Bad, due to COVID, Little Linksters was unable to offer the amount of programming they wanted to. Many more stories can be told about all that was 2020, both positive and disappointing alike.
Bottom line, as Little Linksters moves through 2021, with all the opportunities that they have in front of them, to enhance the lives of kids through golf, they need your support…

The Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development 501c3 was established by multiple award-winning PGA Professional Brendon Elliott and his wife Melisa in December of 2011. The Little Linksters program itself was established in early 2008 as a way of introducing children younger than what is historically typical to the wonderful game of golf. The organization is proud to be celebrating 13 years in 2021.
The Little Linksters original program, called, GROW is geared toward introducing kids ages 3-8 to the game. The Little Linksters GOALS program (Golf Outreach Advances Life Skills) which was created in 2012, is designed for children with special needs ages 3-18+. With past and current partnerships with The Alliance for Accessible Golf, The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, Special Olympics Florida, as well as other special needs organizations, Little Linksters is determined to make this particular program, in their 2021-2022 fiscal year, see its best year yet…but they NEED YOUR HELP!
Other programs ran through Little Linksters include- GROW+ (beginners to intermediate, ages 9-12), ELITE (intermediate to advanced, ages 13-18), their New GROW Teen (beginners ages 13-18), PLAY and FAMILY PLAY, Powered by Operation 36, PGA Junior Golf Camps, PGA Junior League Golf, and proudly, Little Linksters will soon be offering LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Programming starting in the summer of 2021.
Little Linksters main Academies are located at Wekiva Golf Club in Longwood, FL and new in 2021, at Mount Dora Golf Club in Mount Dora, FL. Programming is also offered at Central Florida area schools.
In 2021-2022 Little Linksters is seeking to make scholarships available for ALL children that would like to participate in any of their programming but may have some financial barrier. Boys, Girls, Black, White, Latino, or any other race, creed or color…youth with special needs, or economic challenges, no child should have a barrier to experiencing the game of a lifetime!
