Popular Television Series Highlighting Unique New Products Includes QOLF, Starring PGA Professional Patty Jordan, In October 13th Episode
Culver City, CA, October 16, 2006â?¦Bonfit America, makers of the world famous Brush-T — the bristle brush plastic golf tee, today announced that the popular new QOLF Game was featured on the hit cable television show "I Want That," which airs weekly on the Home & Garden Channel and highlights unique and interesting new products for the home and play. PGA Professional Patty Jordan, of the NY PGA Section, and several junior golfers, starred in the segment to demonstrate QOLF and explain the benefits for junior golfers and newcomers to the game.
QOLF, which is an indoor/outdoor game that is a cross between golf and croquet, offers a fast paced, fun and easy-to-learn alternative to the Links. Further, golf instructors have found QOLF to be an ideal game to introduce children and newcomers to the game.
An alternative to traditional lawn games and indoor family games, QOLF provides a test of accuracy, touch and skill. This makes it an ideal tool for short game training, as golfers can hone their chipping skills and hand-eye coordination, whether in the backyard or living room.
QOLF comes with three color-coded arches (orange, blue and red) that are utilized as frames. The objective of the game is for each participant — utilizing a golf pitching wedge — to hit a specially designed plastic QOLFball through each of the frame arches within a minimum amount of strokes. Players can earn bonus points by hitting the ball through a specially designed target hole above the frame arch.
As part of the game, players can lay-out their own custom QOLF course on any indoor surface — via indoor frame stands — or any grass surface, using natural obstacles as hazards. Four players can complete an entire round of QOLF in approximately 30 minutes.
The original QOLF Game comes with 3 color-coded QOLF frames, twelve QOLFballs, a score pad, an instruction manual and DVD, and a carrying bag to conveniently transport all of the components. The Suggested Retail Price ranges from $39.95-$59.97, as QOLF is available in several models that include an array of accessory products such as custom QOLF Clubs. QOLF is also available in a $24.95 one-frame starter set, while the indoor QOLF frame stand, which is sold separately, has a suggested retail price of $10.00.
