This appointment was necessary to continue meeting the heavy demands in the marketing department," says Mike Herron, Business Development Manager for Excel Golf Tees, Inc. "We are confident Danyl is the right person for this extremely important job. She is an accomplished athlete with tremendous communication skills and training."
Porter will be instrumental to the marketing department but particularly to Mike Herron. She will assist Herron with developing PGA Show strategies, marketing campaigns, as well as coordinating the administrative details that accompany the PGA Show. During the golf season, Porter will work with the Excel Golf Tee PGA Tour Representative to culminate the weekly statistics. This will help in preparing the weekly press releases.
"Excel Golf Tees will be introducing some new products at the upcoming PGA Show. Danyl will be pivotal in all phases of these launches," adds Herron.
Porter comes to Excel Golf Tees from Kehe Foods where her retail background will be highly useful. She will bring another perspective for the Zero Friction marketing platforms. Prior to Kehe Foods she worked Warady & Davis LLD as a special project coordinator in the IT Department. She assisted in converting software programs. Porter is a graduate from the University of Iowa. Her degree is in Communications Studies with an emphasis on Health & Sports Studies.
