Patented Radius Face Technology Putter Line
Palm Beach Gardens, FL – Q-Roll Golf, Inc. will release its new patented Radius Face â?¢ putter line in mid December, 2006. This new group of putters, called the "The Difference is in The Roll" putter line, features the Company’s patented Radius Face Technology. Q-Roll putters have been acknowledged as having a superior roll when subjected to the impartial nature of robot testing. "The Difference is in The Roll" putters are a combination of Classic design successes and the proven Radius Face technology.
In testing conducted by Swing Dynamics of Carlsbad, CA, Q-Roll putters were found to have achieved an "All-Time System Best" in the company’s testing protocol.
The Radius Face â?¢ patented technology has led to many performance awards, among which, and of particular note, consecutive Player’s Choice Awards for Distance Control from player testing performed by PubLinks Golfer Magazine. Q-Rolls putters achieve their superior roll because of the way each putter transfers a maximum amount of energy to the putt so that, said Q-Roll Chairman and designer Larry Garcia, "What you put into the putt is what you get out of it".
With imitation being sincerest form of flattery, Garcia, who invented Radius Face â?¢ technology, said he was recently informed that at least one golf club manufacturer was planning an attempt to circumvent his patent by exceeding its limits.
"Before I applied for the patent, I tested many different radii and finally settled on the optimum radius that produced the best roll,” Garcia said. "The farther removed from this optimum radius, in either direction, the less favorable the results. So, if they don’t mind introducing an inferior product to Q-Roll’s, I can only thank them for validating my technology, and feel sorry that their R&D department could not develop their own technology.”
