Author and Ben Hogan expert Tom Bertrand is currently teaching an online course on "The Legendary Golf System" at Golf Illustrated University (www.gogiu.com).
The first part of the two-part course began last week and will continue for six weeks. The online "university" introduces classes in weekly installments to deliver Ivy League caliber instruction and equipment insight.
Bertrand gained his insight on the Hogan swing through time spent with John Schlee, one of a small number of golfers who became actual students of the golf legend.
The release of the classic golf instruction that will be available to Golf Illustrated University "students" coincides with the release of Bertrand’s book, "The Secret of Hogan’s Swing."
Bertrand teaches golf in North San Diego County and is a graduate of Furman University. "The Secret of Hogan’s Swing" is available for purchase online at www.thesecretofhogansswing.com.
Golf Illustrated University is broken into 10 schools that include the School of Advanced Techniques, School of Diagnostics & Cures, School of Driving, School of Equipment Technology, School of Golf Fitness, School of Golf Fundamentals, School of Golf Psychology, School of Putting, School of Rules & Etiquette, and the School of the Short Game. Classes within these "schools" also include an indication of what handicap level for which the lesson is most appropriate. For more information or to enroll, visit www.gogiu.com.
