Denver, Colorado – October 30, 2006 – Action Television, the producers of the leading independent golf television series, Golf Life announces that they will be producing a Holiday Golf Special that is scheduled to air across the US on Thanksgiving and early December weekends.. The program is slated to air on FSN, Comcast Sports, Sun Sports and other regional sports networks across the US reaching over 75 million households. This special Golf Life episode will air at least 4 times beginning on Thanksgiving and during The Christmas/New Year weekend.
"We are offering companies with interesting products that might make good gifts for the holidays a chance to reach our golf specific audience". The Golf Life Holiday Special is already scheduled to include several course features from winter golf destinations, along with winter golf instruction and fitness tips. In addition, Golf Life host Erica Webster will feature several golf related items that viewers can purchase directly after viewing the program.
The program will reach an audience near one million viewers through solid airtimes and the guaranteed repeats of the episode. These viewer estimates are based on past performance of similar Golf Life episodes in these timeslots during holiday time periods.
"We have several interesting products slated for the program, but there is still some opportunity if there are groups wanting to give television a try this holiday season. In our experience viewers gain a lot of product awareness once they see Erica give a demonstration of a golf product and how she would use it in her own game."
