Orlando, Fla., (Oct. 31, 2006) – After the success of last year’s event, Golfweek, golf’s news leader and award-winning journal of competitive golf, is bringing Golfest Scottsdale back to WestWorld on Nov. 11-12, 2006, with entertainment including Hank Haney, Kirk Triplett, Suzy Whaley, Chuck Hiter, Dennis Walters, Peter Johncke, Brad Denton and Katherine Roberts, as well as a silent auction for a Mirage Putting Green (valued at $8,000).
At Golfweek’s Golfest Scottsdale — the Southwest’s largest outdoor golf lifestyle event and demo day–consumers will be able to try and buy the latest and greatest golf equipment while enjoying clinics, golf entertainment and contests.
"The event in Scottsdale last year was such a huge success, we’re excited to come back this year," said Armand Cimaroli, director of events. "We’ve got a lot of new things planned. There will be more games for the kids, custom club fitting appointments and the $1 million hole-in-one challenge."
