PLANO, Texas (October 31, 2006) – Links Sports is pleased to announce the addition of two future PGA Tour stars and the Tour’s hottest young instructor to its exclusive client roster. Chad Collins and Andrew Pratt, both of whom are widely regarded as two of the most talented and promising Nationwide Tour players and instructor Matt Killen, have selected Links Sports to manage their professional golf careers.
21-year-old Matt Killen is the youngest instructor ever to represent 3 PGA Tour professionals. In addition to his responsibilities as a full-time student at Western Kentucky University, Killen currently coaches Kenny Perry, Shaun Micheel and J.B. Holmes, as well as various Nationwide Tour players and Division 1 college golfers.
He has hosted The Golf Channel’s "Academy Live", been featured twice on "Inside the PGA Tour" and has appeared in a number of publications, including Sports Illustrated.
Chad Collins was the winner of the 2005 Nationwide Tour Henrico County Open. In 2006, Chad has four top 10 finishes and qualified for the U.S. Open where he placed 40th. While attending Methodist College, Collins won the NCAA Division III Individual National Championship three times (1998, 1999, 2001).
Andrew Pratt graduated in 2005 from the University of Tennessee where he was a 2-time Academic All-American. Upon graduation Andrew began Monday qualifying into events and played well enough to earn his status on the 2006 Nationwide Tour. In his brief career Andrew has three top 10 finishes on the Nationwide Tour.
Under the direction of President and Founder Dave Parker, Links Sports manages the careers of more than 25 professional golfers, some of whom include Chad Campbell, Kenny Perry, Shaun Micheel, Corey Pavin, Peter Lonard and Nathan Green.
