ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL–Golf Orlando, a golf marketing co-op comprised of 14 courses in Central Florida, announced today the winner of the "Extreme Golf Makeover" contest. The winning entry belongs to Andrew Gattens from Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Over 20,000 entries were received on the Golf Orlando Web site between June 1 and September 30, 2006.
Gattens will stay at the Orlando World Marriott for 4 days and 3 nights of luxury and relaxation. The Orlando resort is the largest Marriott in the world and it provides a comfortable "home away from home" feel with first-class accommodations and customer service.
Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, the on-site golf course, will provide 2-days of expert golf instruction at the Bill Madonna Golf Academy. Bill Madonna has been studying golf for over 30 years and was recently honored as one of the Top 100 Teachers in the country by Golf Magazine.
Gattens will be scoring higher in style with a brand new set of TaylorMade clubs and full line of apparel from Nike Golf & Ahead.
