"Growing the game by improving player performance"
The Teaching Network (TTN) is a value add service designed to grow the game of golf by strengthening the relationship between golf training aid companies, PGA Professionals and golfers seeking lower scores. "Golfers of all ability levels are searching for ways to improve, and one way, which we are in favor of, is through the use of training aids" says Bill Dando, PGA Professional and TTN founder. "We feel that when players bring newly purchased training aids to a private lesson with a PGA Professional, they are ensuring that the aid is being used in the proper manner, specifically addressing their individual swing".
TTN evaluates all products before accepting them as an "Endorsed Training Aid". "The training aid has to show true value in the golfers learning process to be approved", states Dando. Once the product is approved it will appear on TTN’s web site. Each listed training aid will have a one-time $10 savings coupon enclosed in the retail packaging. This savings coupon is good towards the normal cost of a 30 or 60 minute golf lesson with a TTN registered professional. Currently, players are able to search TTN’s national database which covers 31 States by visiting www.theteachingnetwork.com
Bill adds "Through the initiative of the PGA of America, all PGA Professionals are looking for ways to help grow the game of golf; we feel that helping golfers improve their skills will help that cause greatly. It’s a valuable relationship for all involved – the training aid companies, their customers and the PGA Professional".
For PGA Professionals interested in participating, please visit www.theteachingnetwork.com. There is no cost and the only obligation is to accept the one time savings coupon. For training aid companies who wish to have their product evaluated, please contact Bill Dando at bdando@theteachingnetwork.com .
