Gastonia, NC – AccuFLEX Golf, The Official Shaft Of Longer DrivesTM, continued its dominance on the LDA Tour this past weekend at the 2006 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships by capturing its 13th RE/MAX World Long Drive Title in the Ladies Division. Phillis Meti of New Zealand out-drove her closest competitor by nearly 40 yards and captured the victory in the Ladies Division with a 327-yard drive using an AccuFLEX Evolution Lite shaft in her driver. This latest victory marks AccuFLEX Golf’s 13th RE/MAX World Long Drive Title in just 5 years of competition at the WLDC Finals. This puts AccuFLEX Golf way out in the lead as the #1 Shaft on the LDA Tour by a huge margin.
The AccuFLEX JLG Ultraboom shaft which was used by Sean "The Beast" Fister last year to capture the OPEN Division Title at The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships was far and away the #1 shaft in play at this year’s Finals by a margin of nearly 2 to 1! Other notable finishes for AccuFLEX Golf at this years RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships were a 2nd and 3rd Place Finish in the Men’s OPEN Division, both using the JLG UltraBOOM shaft and the new Creation 65 shaft with Nano-Met Technology made its first appearance at the WLDC and captured a 2nd Place finish in the Senior Division.
