Adams Golf Claims #1 Hybrid on 2006 Nationwide Tour

PLANO, TEXAS, November 14, 2006 – Adams Golf (OTCBB:ADGO) is pleased to announce that three of its Idea Pro hybrids were played by the 2006 Nationwide Tour Champion. His victory qualified him for the 2007 PGA TOUR. In his bag for the impressive victory was an 18-degree, 22-degree and 24-degree Idea Pro hybrid. His other Nationwide Tour win of the season came in September when he carried four Idea Pro hybrids in his bag.

It was a perfect ending to the 2006 Nationwide Tour season for Adams Golf. The Idea Pro hybrid was the #1 hybrid played on tour, according to the Darrell Survey. This most recent win was the ninth time this year a tournament champion played Adams Golf hybrids.

"The substantial amount of Idea Pro hybrids that were put in play this year by Nationwide Tour pros is not only a testament to the outstanding quality and performance of our product, but it’s also a resounding message to all golfers that these elite players, who are competing for a future on the PGA TOUR, have made the transition by replacing their long irons with hybrids," said Chip Brewer, Adams Golf CEO and President. "When 47 of the 60 players at the Tour Championship have at least one hybrid in their bag, it’s a clear indication that the traditional iron set is a thing of the past. Hybrids and hybrid iron sets are the present and the future, and we’re very proud to be the industry leader in hybrid iron sets."

The popularity and usage of Adams Golf hybrids among Nationwide Tour pros increased quickly throughout the year. There were only 12 Idea hybrids in play at the first full-field event (Movistar Panama Championship) of the season, compared to 66 in play at the final full-field tournament of 2006 (Miccosukee Championship). At the Tour Championship last week, Adams Golf accounted for 40% of all the hybrids in play. It was the 15th time in the final 16 Nationwide Tour events that Adams Golf won the hybrid count.
