FORT WORTH, Texas — United Sports Technologies® (UST) proudly introduces the newest addition to its Proforce® series — the all-new Proforce V2 High Launch graphite shaft.
The new Proforce V2 High Launch uses the same ultra-high modulus materials and tour-proven technologies found in all Proforce V2 models. The new V2 High Launch features a more active tip section, so players can expect a higher launch condition with maximum ball speed. The optimized torque in the V2 High Launch also produces a responsive feel and excellent spin rates for the ultimate in shot-shaping control.
"We’re excited to introduce the all-new Proforce V2 High Launch shafts," says Gene Simpson, vice president of sales and marketing for UST. "The V2 High Launch is another great step forward in Tour-proven Proforce Tip Technology to now create a higher launch angle for golfers needing a slightly higher trajectory."
Masterfully balancing torque, weight, spin and launch angle, the high performance Proforce V2 graphite shaft series by UST provides optimum launch angles and increased ball speed with less spin to win professional events worldwide, including most recently The TOUR Championship.
Proforce V2 series shafts are lower torque designs, which are optimized in each V2 model to work for a variety of players using today’s 400cc to 460cc driver heads. The trend in larger driver and fairway wood heads has increased hit-ability for many golfers, but in most of these larger heads, the center of gravity (CG) has been moved further away from the center line of the shaft, a design factor which places more stress on the shaft and causes more twisting of the clubhead. The low-torque V2 allows the golfer to keep the clubhead squared upon impact and, thus helps reduce back spin, enhances shot dispersion and transfers more energy to the ball for explosive distance.
"The V2 High Launch, as well as the other V2 models, incorporate our most advanced technologies — like proprietary fiber orientation, optimized torque configurations and tip balanced engineering," adds Simpson.
New Proforce V2 High Launch graphite shafts are available in various weights from 52- to 77-grams and carry a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $95.
