Orlando, FL – Rife Putters would like to congratulate the T-2nd Place Finisher at The Nationwide Tour Championship held this past weekend at The Houstonian Golf and CC in Richmond, TX. The Tour Player was using one of Rife’s new Island Series Cayman putters to capture this 2nd Place finish and a paycheck for $66,000.00 for the tournament. This finish moved him up to 10th Place on the year end money list with $300,867.00 in earnings and secured his PGA Tour Card for 2007. The 2nd Place Finisher and his Rife Cayman putter ranked #1 in Putts Per Round (26.3) and #1 in Putts Per GIR (1.587) for the tournament.
"He’s had a great year on the Nationwide Tour and we’re very pleased that he earned his PGA Tour Card back using one of our putters," said Matt Molloy, President of Rife Putters. "He has a lot of talent and his putting has been very consistent since he began using one of our putters earlier this year. This was the first week he put our new Cayman model into play and we’re thrilled that he had instant success with it. We very excited about what next year will bring and we’d like to wish him the best of luck on the PGA Tour in 2007."
This brings an end to what has been an amazing year for Rife Putters on the professional golf tours with several victories and numerous Top Ten Finishes on The Nationwide, PGA and Champions Tours and combined earnings in excess of $10 Million for the 2006 season.
All of Rife’s Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and new Island Series putters, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending LieAline System.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
