GolfTEC Remains Focused on Finding Top-Notch Instructors for New & Existing Improvement Centers
DENVER – GolfTEC Enterprises, LLC, a high-tech golf instruction company based out of Denver, continues to show amazing growth each year, outpacing their competition by leaps and bounds. Because of this astounding growth, co-founders Joe Assell and Mike Clinton face a challenge in moving their business forward. They need more Professional Golf Association members to fill their stores as instructors.
"We really believe strongly in our method of employing PGA members and apprentices as the instructors in our stores," says CEO Joe Assell. "We realize that finding this many pros to fill our stores may be our biggest challenge to date. Since we didn’t want to change our approach and method, we determined it was time to hire a full-time recruiter."
PGA Professional Mike McDonald officially joined GolfTEC’s Corporate Headquarter staff as the Director of Recruiting in September 2006. He immediately began traveling the country, speaking with Professional Golf Association members and Professional Golf Management students and graduates about what GolfTEC can offer them. McDonald previously served as a Director of Instruction for the GolfTEC location in Dallas for three years, and knows first-hand all that GolfTEC can offer a PGA professional from a career standpoint.
"As a PGA Professional myself, I understand how much of a force GolfTEC is becoming in the industry, and I’m eager to share this knowledge with other pros around the country," says McDonald. "GolfTEC wants to find the best pros available, and pros will have excellent career opportunities with GolfTEC. It’s a win-win situation."
GolfTEC’s instruction system utilizes a unique blend of digital video, biofeedback sensors, and comparison with PGA Tour Players to rapidly improve a golfer’s swing. The patented SEVA system is used along with one-on-one instruction in private, indoor bays to allow players of any age or ability the opportunity to reach their individual goals.
Founded in 1995, Denver-based GolfTEC is a national chain of golf instruction facilities that provides expert teaching for golfers of all skill levels. GolfTEC centers use patented technology to teach the proper golf swing. There are currently 64 GolfTEC locations in 15 states across the U.S., with 40 franchise territories and 131 committed locations. For more information, visit www.golftec.com.
