Pinfire Golf has announced that Chris Baryla and Steve Marino are their Players of the Year for outstanding play on the Nationwide Tour.
Both players finished top ten at the Nationwide Tour Championship.
Steve Marino had several outstanding achievements this season. Using the Pinfire P4 Prototype Blade he shot a history making 59 at the Grey Goose Tour Championship at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ. Another great performance was his putting stats at the Nationwide Tour event in Wichita, KS. Marino posted 96 putts (for the entire tournament) an amazingly low 1.53 putts per GIR. Marino finished strong at the Nationwide Tour Championship with his 5th top ten finish by placing 6th in the finale.
As for Baryla, he placed 51st on the Money List. He had a strong finish at the Nationwide Tour Championship by placing 10th. On the year he was 21st in top ten finishes with four.
More impressive was Chris’s performance on the greens with his Pinfire putter, where he was 4th in putting with a 1.742 average and 12th in putts per round at 28.78. Baryla also was 36th in scoring average.
