Magnetic/Ionic bracelet worn by Winner of the LPGA Tour’s Largest Prize
November 19, 2006—West Palm Beach, Florida—The Trion:Z magnetic/minus ion bracelet became a part of golf history, having been worn by Julieta Granada, the 20-year-old rookie, to win the ADT Championship on Sunday. The Champion scored a final round 68 and captured the record-setting million dollar first prize.
The winner was sporting an orange and white Trion:Z bracelet, and has been wearing Trion:Z as part of her equipment set since early this spring. "I started wearing it back in April because it looks cool and I love the look." Julieta says lightheartedly. "However, it helped me play pain free and with consistent energy, which kept my game steady throughout the golf season".
"The Trion:Z bracelets have been a hit among the players and caddies since it was introduced to the Tour this spring," states LPGA Tour Representative, Liz Uthoff. According to Uthoff, the LPGA Tour professionals have been flocking to her for Trion:Z products throughout the season. "Because of the 24 different color combinations, the Ladies on Tour have been getting multiple colors to match their outfits".
"We are elated for Ms. Granada and congratulate her for her excellent performance and determination." says Trion:Z CEO, Jim Uno, "We are proud to be a small part of her success".
According to the LPGA final-round interview, the strategy of keeping her mind on the game, being happy, taking advice from David Leadbetter, and having her mom by her side, was key to her win on Sunday. "We wish the young champion continued good luck in her career and consider it a privilege to be a part of her experience," states Uno.
The Trion:Z bracelets and necklaces are made of a fabric called "STAYERSâ?¢" which contains an abundance of minus-ion producing minerals woven into the fabric. The Trion:Z products produce more than 50x times the minus-ion producing power of other competitors. Trion:Z bracelets and necklaces feature 1,000 Gauss medical-grade magnets to boost the body’s natural magnetic field. The magnets are oriented in a patented Alternating North-South Polarity Orientation (ANSPO) to penetrate deeper and cover a broader area than conventional magnetic products. This unique orientation allows the necklace to be worn inside or outside of the clothing and still provide maximum effectiveness.
Trion:Z bracelets are available in 24 color combinations featuring Small (6.3"), Medium (7.1"), Large (7.9")" and Extra Large (8.5") sizes. The necklaces are available in Small (16.5"), Medium (19") and Large (22.5") sizes, and come in 8 stylish colors to match the already popular dual-band bracelets.
Trion:Z is a Carlsbad, California-based business unit of Sonartec Golf, makers of high-performance fairway metals and hybrids, and their new line of t35 forged wedges with Yo-Yoâ?¢ grooves. Trion:Z products feature minus ion and magnetic power to provide the maximum benefit to users. Trion:Z bracelets were launched at the PGA Merchandise show earlier this year, and quickly became the talk on Tour, with over 170 professionals on the PGA tour, LPGA Tour, and Champions Tour donning the bracelets.
