ARLINGTON, Va. – The USO and Armed Forces Entertainment have joined forces with a group of professional golfers to provide service members in the Persian Gulf region the opportunity to meet with and learn some golf tips from some of the best golfers in the world.
The "Operation Links" tour participants include:

â?¢ Two-time PGA tour winner Frank Lickliter II
â?¢ Corey Pavin, Fifteen-time PGA Tour winner and Champion of the 1995 U.S. Open
â?¢ National Long Drive Champion Brian Pavlet
â?¢ Two-time Long Drive Champion Art Sellinger
â?¢ Three-time PGA Tour winner Howard Twitty
This tour continues the USO tradition of bringing celebrities and sports figures to service members serving far from home. Sports figures who have recently made trips for the USO include stock car champ Warren Johnson, legendary coach Lou Holtz, Louisiana State University football coach Les Miles and NCAA coaches who coached military players in championship tournaments in Kuwait and the Pacific.
