TaylorMade TP Golf Ball Notches Fourth Worldwide Win
CARLSBAD, Calif. (November 28, 2006) – After knocking on victory’s door several times during the past few months, TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff professional Justin Rose stepped across the threshold by carding five birdies on Sunday to win the MasterCard Masters in Australia.
Rose, a native of England, registered five top-15 finishes on the PGA Tour since the start of September, including a runner-up finish at the Valero Texas Open. Key to his win in Australia was his ability to set up and convert numerous birdie opportunities on the difficult greens of Huntingdale Golf Club, which played tough all week and yielded just two rounds under 70 on the final day. The victory, his third on the European Tour, was his first in four years.
