PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, organizing partners for the PGA Merchandise Show, announce the participation of the Titleist Performance Institute at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 25-27, in Orlando, Fla.
The Titleist Performance Institute, founded and created by both Dave Phillips and Dr. Greg Rose in 2003, is one of the most technologically advanced golf evaluation facilities in existence, focusing on swing efficiency, conditioning and custom equipment fitting. It combines industry-leading experts, state-of-the-art technology and world-class facilities, in order to enhance the performance and physical well-being of golfers of all skill levels.
"It is a tremendous value to the thousands of attending PGA Professionals and industry leaders to have an opportunity to experience first-hand the educational benefits of the Titleist Performance Institute at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show," said PGA of America Chief Executive Officer Joe Steranka. "The advanced analysis of the golf swing, equipment and student fitness levels is playing a major role in growing enjoyment in golf and, in turn, encouraging additional participation."
"We recognize the increasing importance of the PGA Merchandise Show as an educational platform for their members," added Titleist Performance Institute Co-Founder Phillips, a longtime PGA Professional and one of GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers. "It is the ideal setting for us to reach the greatest number of PGA members, instructors and fitness experts, in an effort to educate them on the importance of golf fitness and advise them of the growth opportunities available to them within the golf industry.
"Our three priorities for attending the Show are to promote the MyTPI.com subscriber-based Web site for Professionals, the 2nd Annual World Golf Fitness Summit and the TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor Program. All of these initiatives help support the PGA member and those who play an integral part in growing the game and increasing golfers’ enjoyment of the game."
The Titleist Performance Institute will be located in Booth #2153 at the PGA Merchandise Show.
