New Monitor to Support Cobra Fit to SpeedÌ¢?å¢ Custom Fitting System Roll-out

AccuSport International, Inc. announced today it has developed a new proprietary ball speed monitor for Cobra Golf. The new monitor was developed to support Cobra’s revolutionary new Fit to Speedâ?¢ custom fitting system that determines a player’s Accurate Set Compositionâ?¢ based on their individual ball speed.

AccuSport is the leading developer and marketer of golf swing launch monitors and its Vector and Vector Pro Launch Systems are recognized throughout the golf industry for accuracy, portability and affordability. The Vector Launch Systems measure and analyze launch angle, ball speed, backspin, sidespin and side angle to instantaneously quantify the performance of both player and equipment.

The new Cobra Ball Speed Monitor measures launch angle and ball speed, and also displays estimated distance and club-head speed. Cobra recently unveiled its new custom fitting system which will reside at over 3000 locations around the world by Spring 2007. All of Cobra’s Fit to Speed partners will be provided with the new AccuSport Cobra Speed Monitor to enable precise measurement of the golfer’s individual ball speed and launch angle.

Jeff Harmet, President of Cobra Golf, commented that Cobra’s long-term relationship with AccuSport and confidence in the company’s technology played a significant role in AccuSport’s selection as the preferred proprietary development partner. "AccuSport has supplied Cobra with Vector Launch Systems for several years, and we have a tremendous amount of confidence in their data. We’re excited by this new development in support of our Fit to Speedâ?¢ custom fitting system and look forward to rolling out the new ball speed monitors to our club fitters."

Don Thorup, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of AccuSport said, "AccuSport has a long history of working with original equipment manufacturers in support of their product development efforts. We’re very pleased to now have been selected to develop and supply the new proprietary Cobra Ball Speed Monitors. This selection further validates our product technology and builds upon the great foundation we created with the Vector Launch System."

Mark Reasor, Vice President with AccuSport and Cobra Program Manager commented, "Cobra has been a fantastic development partner on this project. Their marketing strategy with the Fit to Speedâ?¢ system was completely in line with the knowledge a consumer gains when being fitted on a launch monitor. The Cobra Ball Speed Monitor really helps Cobra communicate the Fit to Speedâ?¢ value proposition."

Mr. Harmet commented, "The feedback we’ve received from our sales reps has been overwhelmingly positive and we’ve seen a significant lift in our sell-thru rates once a customer hits on the Cobra Ball Speed Monitor." Cobra has held product introduction and training sessions for their sales force, demonstrated the unit at their annual sales meeting, and is currently in full product roll-out.
