RadarGolf Assembles High-Profile Advisory Board

SAN RAMON, CA – December 12, 2006. RadarGolf, makers of the award-winning RadarGolf System, announced the addition of four high-profile executives to its Advisory Board. The RadarGolf System uses patented radio frequency technology to help golfers quickly locate golf balls. The company is adding key advisors as it develops next generation technology for golf and other industries.

"We are excited to add talent of this caliber to our team," said RadarGolf Founder and CEO Chris Savarese. "We have a tremendous opportunity in golf. Our first product scratched the surface of what is possible for ‘intelligent’ golf products. We’ve been approached to apply our technology to other markets and are pursuing the best of these opportunities. Our new advisors will help us with technical expertise and industry-specific experience and as we grow."

RadarGolf’s new advisors include:

  • Quentin Cooper, Founder of QWCooper legal services. Mr. Cooper has extensive experience in technology licensing, business development and intellectual property law. Quentin was Senior Director of Corporate Development at Oracle and Executive Director of Business Development and Senior Corporate Counsel at Siebel Systems, Inc. Quentin was Director of World Wide Licensing at eGain Communications and served as in-house counsel at Vantive Corp., which was acquired by PeopleSoft, Inc.
  • Chris Holiday, a 30-year veteran of the golf industry. Mr. Holiday most recently served as General Manager and Senior Vice President North American Sales at TaylorMade-adidas Golf and was the SVP of U.S. Sales at Callaway Golf during his tenure from 1990 – 2001.
  • Lonnie Johnson, an accomplished NASA scientist, inventor and founder of companies bringing the latest battery and energy conversion technologies to market. Mr. Johnson is a successful consumer product entrepreneur as he is the inventor of the popular SuperSoaker® water gun and several Nerf® dart guns.
  • Keith Scott, a seasoned CEO with experience running companies with proprietary technology and patent portfolios. Mr. Scott was SVP Sales and Marketing for Alien Technologies, a leader in the consumer RFID market, where he built Alien’s go-to-market strategy and secured their first customers.
