Orlando, FL – Rife’s new Island Series putters played a major part in the outcome of the World Golf Championships-Barbados World Cup this past weekend. Rife captured not one, but two Top 5 Finishes. It’s seems rather fitting that Rife’s new Island Series Barbados putter was one of the models to capture a Top 5 Finish at the Barbados World Cup. The Tour Player who was a US Ryder Cup Team Member and Ranked 15th on the 2006 PGA Tour Money List used a belly-length Barbados putter to carry his team to a T-5th Finish at the event. The other Top 5 came from a Rife prototype Island Series Antigua putter that was used to capture a T-4th Finish at The Country Club Course by the #12 Ranked Player on the Money List capping off what has been a very successful year for Rife Putters on the PGA Tour.
Rife finished the 2006 season with 5 players in the Top 50 on The PGA Tour Money List and year end earnings totaling in excess of $15 Million Dollars.
Having already proven themselves on Tour, Rife’s new Island Series putters are set to be officially introduced to the public at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show on January 25th thru 27th in Orlando, Florida.
All of Rife’s Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and new Island series putters, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
