KemperSports Announces Organizational Changes to Support Growth

December 14, 2006

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Dec. 13, 2006 – KemperSports Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Lesnik announced today a number of officer changes at the Illinois-based golf and hospitality management and sports marketing and communications organization. Lesnik said the changes were effective in November and were brought about by the company’s expanding portfolio of golf properties under ownership and management, and by expansion in its sports

marketing and public relations activities.

Steven K. Skinner was named president and chief operating officer of KemperSports, and will supervise all company operations. He formerly was president of KemperGolf Management, a division of the company comprising the firm’s third-party management operations.

Joshua W. Lesnik was named president of KemperSports Properties, a division of the company which oversees Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and properties in which KemperSports and its partners have ownership interests. He will also act as chief branding officer.

Executive Vice President James R. Seeley, who has operational responsibility for Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, has assumed supervision of KemperSports’ owned Illinois properties. He is also the company’s senior agronomy and

merchandising officer.

James R. Stegall was named executive vice president of KemperSports.

Formerly a senior vice president, Stegall will oversee most of the company’s third-party managed and leased properties including Dorado Beach Resort & Club in Puerto Rico, the company’s first venture outside U.S. borders.

Gary S. Binder has joined KemperSports as senior vice president. Binder, formerly a senior vice president at Crown Golf Properties, will oversee a number of properties in the KemperSports portfolio as well as a number of properties in CK Golf Partners, a newly created affiliate that will manage facilities previously operated by Crown Golf, as that firm exits the business.

John C. Clark also has joined KemperSports as vice president of accounting and corporate controller. All of the company’s accounting functions will report to Clark, who was previously vice president and controller at Potbelly’s, a privately held multi-state restaurant chain.

Clark will report to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Gregory E. Myles, who has added a number of administrative functions to his responsibilities.

Senior Vice President James K. Hahn will continue to oversee KemperSports’

third-party management properties in the East and Midwest regions.
