Meghan lives in Shafter, California and this past year she played in 9 tournaments including the Crozier Classic. Highlights included a second straight finish in the Lin Ross Easter Classic in Fresno; a tenth place finish in the California State Girls Amateur at Pebble Beach; and a solid performance in the Len Roberts Cup at the San Luis Obispo County Club including sinking the winning putt on the last hole of match play and winning the season points title and Player of the Year for the KCJGA. Meghan dad Michael said she love’s using the Volvik Crystal Golf Balls and promotes them at every event she plays.
Meghan turned 12 in September and has continued to maintain straight A’s in school. She captains her club soccer team and currently participating in the USA Soccer Junior Olympic Development trails. Despite being the high scorer on her AAU basketball team and receiving invitations to Nike and Adidas camps as well as interest from one major West Coast basketball powerhouse, Megan has decided to drop basketball to concentrate on golf. She is looking forward to the 2007 season and there’s no doubt she will have another great year.
