Winner is Drawn From Entrants at the EWGA Annual Conference
SANTA ANA, CA – December 14, 2006 – GolfGym®, the industry leader in golf fitness announced today that Executive Women’s Golf Association member, Karen Chinander has won a Complete GolfGym System. Karen attended the recent EWGA Annual Conference in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, November 2 – 4, 2006 where she entered a drawing held by GolfGym.
The EWGA Annual Conference is the premier event of the organization. Nearly 500 high-profile, influential businesswomen from all over the United States and Canada participated in the conference. During the three-day conference, attendees played golf, demoed equipment, attended personal enrichment sessions and recognized member achievements at the Gala Awards Banquet. Ken Pierce, president of GolfGym, and Katherine Roberts, golf fitness expert, conducted a personal enrichment session entitled, "Golf Fitness Made Simple" and participated in two demo days.
The Complete GolfGym System contains the Masters Edition PowerSwing Trainer which includes a ProPerfect training grip, three latex PowerCords (light, medium and heavy resistance), a door attachment, instruction manual, instructional DVD and a convenient carrying bag. The System also includes the golfers choice of a Club 38 (about 2.4 pounds) or Club 28 (about 1.75 pounds) golf-balanced weighted training clubs, a choice of either a 55cm or 65cm GolfGym Balance Ball, and two Game Improvement Series DVD’s.
The PowerSwing Trainer is a unique training and conditioning tool designed to develop proper swing habits and muscle memory, improve club control and shot accuracy, build strength to add distance, and develop better balance, flexibility and posture.
The Club 28 & Club 38 are the same length as a standard 7 iron and are proportionately weighted with the overall weight distributed the same as a traditional club. The weighting and the length makes these clubs a perfect tool for golfers to warm up prior to their rounds or in a training regiment. The GolfGym Club simply accentuates a golf club’s natural feel. Its weight makes it easier to keep track of the head as it pulls the golfer through his or her swing.
The GolfGym Balance Ball is a premium quality 55cm or 65cm burst-resistant balance ball, and includes a Quick Start DVD featuring Katherine Roberts, a Quick Start User Manual and a portable air pump.
The Game Improvement Series of DVDs offered by GolfGym feature The Golf Channel fitness expert, Katherine Roberts, who guides golfers through state-of-the-art golf workout programs that are tailored for use with GolfGym equipment. The series includes The GolfGym Balance Ball Workout and The Complete GolfGym Workout for use with the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer.
The Complete GolfGym System has a suggested retail price of $179.95. Purchasing all the items in the package individually would cost $204.75.
