Kye Power Inc., a Manchester, NH-based designer of women’s high-end apparel, under the Kye® brand, announces the relocation and expansion of its Corporate headquarters and design studio to The Langer Place Mill in the historic Amoskeag Millyard district.
"We are excited to call the Langer Place Mill home. Our entire line is designed and manufactured in the Northeast so it is appropriate that our new home is located in the heart of what was once the largest textile mill in the world," said Company Founder and President, Kye Power . Situated on the Merrimack River with its magnificent brick exterior, exposed beams, and wooden floors, the building is as inspirational as it is historical. In addition to the ambiance of the building itself, the Langer Place Mill is unique in that it truly is an artisans community including, among other things, galleries, photographers, print designers, and furniture makers .
Added Power, "In addition to gaining some much needed space for our growing business needs, our new location offers us much better visibility to showcase the line to the people of New England, many of whom have never seen the line since our primary markets are in resort areas such as California, Arizona and Hawaii. Although our business is primarily wholesale, our new design studio will benefit from being in a more retail-friendly location, as it is close to a new ball park, hotel, and civic center. This location is perfect in that it captures the history of the garment industry, provides an inspirational work environment, and has close proximity to downtown and the airport."
Kye® is a designer women’s apparel line featuring custom fabrics from the Como region of Italy, elegant Swarovski® crystal buttons and a clean silhouette. The sophisticated pieces are easy care and versatile, making them perfect for work or for play. The line has received National recognition on TV and in major publications – most recently, Forbes Life and Hemisperes, United Airlines in-flight publication.
Kye Power Inc. is a privately-held company headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire. Garments are manufactured in the U.S.A. of domestic and imported materials. Kye® can be found in select resorts, boutiques, pro shops and specialty stores. Viewing of the line in the Langer Place Mill design studio is by appointment only. Starting in March 2007, two of the new collections, Kauai and Kyoto, designed around fabrics with colorful flowers and abstracts on dark solid bases, will be showcased at The Langer Place Mill.
