LAURINBURG, N.C., â?¦Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that, according to authoritative 2006 Darrell Survey results, the majority of pros who played on the top five major professional golf tours worldwide during 2006 depended on Golf Pride® grips.

During 2006, only Golf Pride grips can show usage by 86 percent of all pros who played on the top five major professional golf tours, including the PGA, Champions, Nationwide, LPGA and European Tours. In fact, out of a total of 178 tournaments this past year, 147 were won by pros using Golf Pride grips. Among those winners, the pros used Golf Pride in three out of four of the majors on the PGA Tour.

"We’re delighted, but certainly not surprised that Golf Pride continues to be the number one grip choice among professional golfers," said Jeff Fiorini, general manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. "At any level in golf, not just on Tour, Golf Pride’s leadership and performance are outstanding."

Eaton’s Golf Grip Division is the world’s largest manufacturer of golf grips, with manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities on five continents.
