Feel Golf is pleased to announce PGA Tour Partners has given "The Full Release" performance grip an 83 % approval rating. Testing by PGATour Partners was conducted over a period of time and by golfers from all skill levels.
To have this high of a rating from PGATour Partners substantiates what many of our customers have been telling us over the last 18 months. Merely by changing to "The Full Release" grip from their age old traditional grip design most players are seeing a vast improvement in their game without spending hundreds of dollars trying to buy a game.
These innovative and high performance patented grips, are gaining a strong foothold in the grip marketplace worldwide. The "innovative reverse taper" design allows golfers of all skill levels to achieve a Tour player style finger tip grip, for more swing speed through impact, more control and above all, more power. As attested by PGA Tour partners most tester comments consisted of, "the grip eliminated my awful slice and I picked up distance on my clubs"
Feel CEO Lee Miller said; "We had a good year in ’06 out on Tour, particularly with the European players. There must be 30 or 40 guys who have used it, or are still working with it. We know that we had quite a few of the Ryder Cup (EURO) team using the grips, or our wedges, so that was very gratifying. They are not as hung up on getting paid to try new products, so we had much more access to them. Their play speaks for itself."
New for 2007
The new X-Line Two (2) Color for 2007 feature some dramatic new colors; a "Fly Yellow/Black, an "Orient Blue/Black", and a "Fire Engine Red/Black. These new colors are accompanied by the 2006 stand by’s, The "X-Wrap" all Black and the "X-Line Full Cord", a cord that is so soft, you don’t need a glove. The new colored models feature a distinct black oval mixed in the lowered colored section for easy grip placement with a reminder rib for proper alignment which also lends to a proper and faster release through impact.
An improved material has been employed in the ’07 models. Miller said; "We went to a special grade premium rubber this year. It is more expensive, but we believe the performance characteristics of top grade rubber are well worth it. It is softer, gives much better feedback at impact and has better shock absorption. You can really feel your hands and the club head with this material."
About "The Full Release"â?¢ Performance Grip
The revolutionary "Full Release"â?¢ Performance Grip, with its patented ergonomic design, is called "The first major change to golf in the last 100 years". The grip was first introduced at the PGA Merchandise Show where it was named "The Top Discovery of The PGA International Merchandise Show" by Golfweek magazine. It also earned "Best of Show" honors at the Fall PGA Merchandise Show by Travel Golf and continues to win numerous International awards for innovation.
"The Full Release"â?¢ Performance Grip allows you to attain instant gratification by immediately increasing distance and reducing wayward ball flight. The "Taper Tip Technologyâ?¢" design of this grip is thinner in the left hand and thicker in the right hand – similar to the grip of a baseball bat. The Full Releaseâ?¢ Grip allows you to hold the club in the finger tips for a tension free Tour player like grip. You now can fully release the club through impact seeing an instant distance increase, a better touch and feel around the green, and greatly reducing or even eliminating the dreaded slice or hook shots that plague 98% of today’s golfers.
