Aerotech Golf Joins ClubmakingWire

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Golf’s leader in composite shaft innovation, Aerotech Golf announces it has joined ClubmakingWIRE.com, golf’s only on-line wire service exclusively dedicated to golf equipment news and custom fitting.

"Experienced clubmakers know that having up-to-date information on the latest golf equipment is critical to providing proper fitting recommendations," says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf, "and we’re very excited to begin delivering technical information on Aerotech shafts and our latest composite research to ClubmakingWIRE subscribers."

Aerotech was originally a subsidiary of a larger composite manufacturer, which produced a variety of products in the sporting goods, medical and musical industries. Today, Aerotech Golf specializes in uniquely engineered, performance-enhancing golf shafts and has supplied shafts to such renowned golf club manufactures as Cleveland Golf, Adams Golf, Fenwick, Srixon, Lynx, Zevo and Pure Spin among many others. By launching its own branded golf shafts in 2002, Aerotech became known as a producer of some of the most innovative, high-quality golf shafts on the market.

Aerotech Golf quickly vaulted to notoriety with it’s introduction of the SteelFiber line of golf shafts. Providing golfers with the power of graphite and the stability of steel, SteelFiber shafts feature a high-modulus graphite core and more than 59 miles of steel fiber covering the surface of each shaft. While the shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, the steel fibers produce a optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy. SteelFiber shafts are available to enhance the performance of Irons, hybrids, fairway woods and drivers.

"The technology and extensive product lines offered by Aerotech provide a wide variety of custom fitting options, and the ClubmakingWIRE can deliver that message directly to golfers and custom fitters around the world," adds Hilleary.
