"Play Like The Pros" Package Available Monthly Throughout 2007
CARLSBAD, Calif., Jan. 9, 2007â?¦ Maintaining a rich tradition that began with golf’s tour stars of the 1960s, La Costa Resort and Spa will continue to make its legendary Tournament Course available for play throughout 2007.
On the fourth Tuesday of each month, starting Jan. 23, La Costa Resort and Spa will reintroduce its popular "Play Like The Pros" package, scheduling tee times on the 18-hole composite layout used for competition most recently in the annual Accenture Match Play Championship (from 1999-2006). La Costa also has hosted the world’s premier tour golf professionals during the prestigious Tournament Of Champions (1969-1993) and Mercedes Championship (1994-1998).
These are the only dates of the year that La Costa, part of the family of KSL Resorts destinations, combines holes from its celebrated North and South courses specifically to recreate the world tour players’ challenge for everyday golfers. "Play Like the Pros" is available on only 10 dates in 2007 (excluding April and October) – Jan. 23, Feb. 27, March 27, May 22, June 26, July 24, Aug. 28, Sept. 25, Nov. 27 and Dec. 25. The fee is $225 per player ($200 per resort guest). Overnight packages are available as well.

This is the fourth year La Costa has presented its "Play Like The Pros" package, which has received extremely positive response since 2004.
