Myrtle Point Golf Club in Powell River, British Columbia, appoints Total e Golf to manage golf operations. … The latest Golf Smarter podcast features an interview with club designer Tom Wishon. In the interview, Wishon says: "Golf clubs are not ‘one size fits all,’ yet that’s precisely the way they’ve been sold for decades. At least 80 percent of the people who play golf would play better and achieve lower scores if they would find a custom clubmaker who could build a set to match each golfer’s unique characteristics." … The February issue of Golf magazine features its 2007 reader survey and an interview with CBS analyst Nick Faldo. … The Mississippi Development Authority Division of Tourism announces Fiscal Year 2006 sales (July 1 2005-June 30 2006) at Mississippi public golf courses increased 8.6 percent over FY 2005.
