Golf Industry veteran Jeff Jackson recently joined forces with nationally recognized
component manufacturer Peerless Golf. Jackson will oversee new product
development, catalog and internet production and will head the technical division of Peerless.
Peerless has been in business for more than a decade and is looking to Jackson to expand its
customer base and product line.
Jackson is excited about the growth potential of Peerless Golf. "Peerless has been a
hidden gem in the component industry for years. While the company has a loyal
following, I see a huge growth potential. We intend to be aggressive with product
design and marketing as we take Peerless Golf to the next level. We will be
expanding the product line and technical sides of the company as well as seeking
more distribution, both domestically and abroad. While Peerless may never be the
largest component company, our goal is to make it the unmatched and unparalleled
component company when it comes to product, customer service and technical
information."
Prior to joining Peerless Golf, Jackson acted as Director of Marketing at Tour
Golf Products, Columbus, Ohio, and held a similar position at Mitchell Golf
Equipment Company in Dayton, Ohio. Jackson was former President of Dynacraft
Golf Products for more than a decade at which time he was responsible for
Dynacraft’s club designs and its Clubmaking Institute.
Jackson has written five clubmaking and fitting texts, including Total Clubfitting and The Modern Guide to Clubmaking. He has authored articles for several national and international publications and is a regular contributor to several Internet sites. He is a frequent speaker at golf-related seminars in both the U.S. and Canada. Jackson has participated in the Australian PGA Education Program on numerous occasions. Jackson is also owner of Granville Golfland, a fitting center and practice facility in central Ohio.
Born in Cumberland, Maryland, Jackson graduated from Western Maryland College in 1979. He received his Master’s Degree from Frostburg State University in 1983. An educator and golf coach for 12 years, Jackson also acted as director of golf at Wisp Resort in Garrett County Maryland for three years in the mid-1980s.
