ORLANDO, FL – Mystic Dunesâ?¢ Golf Club has been selected for the third straight year to host a PGA Pro-Pro Series tournament during the week of the annual PGA Merchandise Show.
The Pro-Pro Series will visit this GaryKoch-designed course on Wednesday, January 24 with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The Pro-Pro Series is comprised of several events during PGA Show Week, and PGA golf professionals choose a tournament that fits their schedule or course preference. Each event consists of 50 two-man teams. PGA Magazine and PGA Golf Exhibitions are the Series’ sponsors.
The PGA show, which attracts over 40,000 club professionals, equipment buyers, vendors, and other industry members at the Orange County Convention Center, is scheduled for Jan. 25-27.
Mystic Dunesâ?¢ Golf Club, a high-end daily fee course, is open to the public and is located at the Mystic Dunesâ?¢ Resort & Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. Designed by Champions Tour player and NBC Golf Analyst Gary Koch, this premier Central Florida course is a par-71, 7,102-yard golfer’s dream. Reflective of the uniqueness of the design is the par 4 10th hole. It’s a drivable par 4 (300 yards from the regular tees), but long hitters must weigh the reward against the risks. A devilish bunker, natural sandy areas, and the massive, three-tiered green demand accuracy. The course is listed by Golf Digest’s "Best Places To Play" as a four-star facility.
Established in December of 1997, Tempus Resorts International, Ltd., is the premier vacation ownership company in Central Florida.
