Toronto, Ontario – After an incredibly successful first year of bringing high fashion to women golfers, Birdie Girl is doubling its line with the debut of new ultra-hot golf bags and accessories at the prestigious 2007 PGA Merchandise Show.
"Birdie Girl is making a splash everywhere from public courses to the LPGA," says Rosemary Brdar, the founder and lead designer of Birdie Girl. "Clearly women with an eye to fashion need to look hot right down to their golf bags – and no longer have to lock their fabulousness up in the club house."
For 2007, Birdie Girl is adding a too-hot-to-handle pink camouflage stand bag to the collection, as well as a scorchingly sexy cart bag with black patent leather siding and the trademark Birdie Girl pink argyle. New bag and headcover designs, sizzling fabrics and colourways and fresh accessories are doubling the size of Birdie Girl’s line for the upcoming season.
"I founded this company with a single, stubborn mission: To create a line where women were the focus, not the second thought," says Brdar. "Our urban designs and eye for the latest street style are resonating – with quick sell outs in our first line a clear indication that women need golf accessories that make them feel as fabulous as the latest designer handbag or sexy stiletto heels."
Birdie Girl proudly supports three LPGA Futures Players, including Jessica Shepley who took her Birdie Girl tour bag to the Canadian Open. Birdie Girl is also proud to sell an exclusive stand bag set to support the important education and research work of Rethink Breast Cancer.
