PALM DESERT, Calif., Jan. 16, 2007 – KemperSports, manager of Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif., today announced Gary Piotrowski as general manager. In this role, Gary will oversee daily operations of the nationally acclaimed 36-hole resort, located in Southern California’s Coachella Valley.
Piotrowski, who hails from Michigan, brings more than 12 years of experience managing upscale, daily-fee and semi-private clubs and has also directed the opening of multiple golf facilities. He most recently served as general manager at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. Prior to that assignment, Piotrowski held the general manager position for seven years at The Walt Disney Corporation-owned Celebration Golf Club, also located in Orlando. In addition to his status as a Class A member of the PGA, Piotrowski is an active member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).
