Bracelet to Join Highly Successful Pendant, A 12-Year Favorite on the Worldwide Tours
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. (January 18, 2007) – On the heels of a highly successful 2006 in terms of sales and success on the worldwide golf tours, Q-Link Golf is poised for an encore performance in 2007 with the introduction of the Q-Link bracelet line. The new Q-Link bracelet is poised to join the Q-Link pendant as one of the hottest pieces of equipment on the worldwide tours.
Stylish and contemporary, the Q-Link bracelet, which makes its debut at the PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 25-27 in Orlando, offers the same stress-relieving technology as the top-selling pendant and is available in three models: Performance ($79.95 SRP); Silver Cuff ($99.95 SRP); and Silver/Gold Cuff ($149.95 SRP).
"The Q-Link bracelet is a product of the overwhelming success of the Q-Link pendant," said Q-Link USA President John Allan. "Many of our customers and tour players over the years have asked us when we were coming out with a bracelet. Now we’ve delivered for them. We expect the bracelet will be as popular and successful as the pendant, as the response has already been great." Q-Link has already received commitments from the top retailers in the industry, including Golf Galaxy, GolfSmith, Edwin Watts, The Golfer’s Warehouse and many more.
The new Q-Link bracelet is offered as an alternative to golfers who prefer bracelets over pendants. It can be worn on and off the golf course, and best of all, offers the same kind of performance that people have come to expect from Q-Link products. Q-Link USA has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on research and testing, resulting in further validation of the product’s benefits. FDA-Registered Stress Testing is also administered to Touring pros to demonstrate how the Q-Link immediately reduces stress. This testing will be available for attendees at the PGA Merchandise Show in booth 2811.
The Q-Link pendant has been worn by more than 300 touring golf professionals and has been involved in 125 victories worldwide. Among the world-class golfers using Q-Link Golf products are Lorena Ochoa, the LPGA Player of the Year in 2006. Ochoa topped the 2006 LPGA money list with $2,592,872 in earnings for the year. With six wins in ’06, her 69.24 scoring average led the LPGA and was two strokes better than her ’05 average.
Also in ’06, Ochoa led the LPGA in Greens Hit, Birdies, Eagles, Rounds under Par and Rounds in the 60s. She tied for first in Top 10 finishes (20) and tied for second in Greens in Regulation.
"I feel calmer in tough situations," Ochoa said. "(Q-Link) really makes a difference under pressure."
This season, in addition to Ochoa, rising star Brittany Lincicome will wear Q-Link products on the LPGA Tour. In only her second LPGA season last year, Lincicome won the HSBC Women’s World Match Play Championship and posted four additional Top 10 finishes.
PGA Tour players who used Q-Link products in ’06 included Brian Gay, Marco Dawson, Greg Chalmers, Ted Purdy, Lee Janzen, Michael Allen, Bubba Dickerson, Jeff Brehaut, Tim Petrovic, Tommy Armour III, John Riegger, Mike Sposa, Chris Couch, Jerry Smith, Dicky Pride, Patrick Sheehan, Garrett Willis, Doug Barron, Nicholas Thompson, and Matt Hansen.
Wearing a Q-Link pendant, Brian Gay emerged as one the Tour’s top putters in ’06, with an average of 28.08 putts per round (second on Tour) and a putting average of 1.727 putts per hole (third on Tour).
"Based on Brian’s performance, he can be labeled the best putter on Tour for 2006," Allan said. "We’re glad he’s going to be back with Q-Link in 2007 and we think he’s going to have another great year."
Five of the Top 20 finishers in the final stage of the ’06 PGA Tour Qualifying School – Cameron Beckman, Paul Gow, Michael Allen, Marco Dawson and Steve Allan each wore Q-Link pendants – during the pressure-filled rounds of Q-School.
"This proves that Q-Link works under the most intense pressure," said Allan. "There is no greater pressure for a professional golfer than Q-School."
Like the Q-Link pendant, each Q-Link bracelet features SRT-3 programming, which enables it to more efficiently resonate life-supporting frequency in a person’s energy field. The result is a more effective response to stress. With the Q-Link bracelet and pendant, athletes and non-athletes realize heightened energy, a quicker stress-reducing effect and experience a more rapid return to centered emotional states.
The Q-Link bracelet and Q-Link pendant contain no power source of their own. Each works like a tuning fork, resonating with and strengthening the life-enhancing information already present within the human biofield.
People who wear the Q-Link report a wide range of benefits in their personal and professional lives including higher energy, the ability to think more clearly, increased awareness, calmness, better sleep, enhanced mental focus, stamina and vitality.
For golfers, these benefits produce an active edge that contributes to better course management and the ability to perform – especially under competitive stress. The result is more good shots, fewer bad shots, a faster ability to return to a centered emotional state and lower golf scores.
All Q-Link products carry a one-year warranty and are available at green grass shops and at the world’s leading golf retailers, including Golfsmith, Edwin Watts Golf, Golf Galaxy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Roger Dunn Golf Shops and The Golfer’s Warehouse.
Q-Link products are distributed in the United States by Q-Link USA, Inc., headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif. Consumers can order Q-Link products by visiting the company’s web site at www.qlinkgolf.com or by calling (800) 497-0068.
