ClubStores enters into partnerships with clubs and/or professionals and builds customized online fashion and golf shopping experiences for memberships at no cost.
"We foot the development bill and only ask our partners to take on the responsibility of promoting their new revenue stream to their members," CEO Brian Schleifer says, "then we share the profits."
ClubStore partnerships solve inventory, sizing and brand depth and other issues facing golf shop operations.
"We take invididual member orders, can emblemize and personalize them in many cases, and expand the opportunities for members to demonstrate their loyalty to their respective club’s and professionals," he said.
Upscale fashion, travel, gift and accessory brands are among the ClubStore merchandise categores that offers club memberships wider selection.
"The brand community likes us, too," Schleifer says, "because we give them a chance to get into a shop where they are not stocked and even offer fuller service if they are stocked. ClubStore even protects the commissions that accrue to that shop’s sales rep," he adds.
The ClubStore managing partners are Schleifer, former COO Fairway and Greene, Robert Petisi, former CEO Marketing Corporation of America and Peter Fox, founding executive producer, ESPN.
