Following a successful debut at the 2006 Masters, Back Nine USA launches their innovative headcover at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show
WOBURN, Mass. – January 18, 2007 – Back Nine USA, an emerging designer and manufacturer of golf headwear, apparel and accessories, today announced that their innovative TOURevolutionâ?¢ headcover, which debuted earlier this year at the 2006 Masters, will be formally launched at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show and available for sale in February 2007.
The patent-pending TOURevolution headcover, like the rest of Back Nine USA’s product line, combines the ingenuity of modern materials with classic designs. By pairing elements of the traditional knit pom-pom headcover with the newer, stronger and also easily embroidered neoprene material, the TOURevolution headcover brings together the ultimate in club protection, branding, and old school golf style.
"The TOURevolution is our modern adaptation of an old school look" said Andy Hydorn, president and co-founder of Back Nine USA. "The pom-pom headcover is a classic golf accessory that we felt was in need of an update. The result is a headcover that gives you a bold branding opportunity but still retains the classic look of the pom-pom that everyone loves."
Back Nine USA designed a non-retail version of the TOURevolution headcover exclusively for Callaway Golf staff professionals at the 2006 Masters. The headcovers created a buzz even during the practice rounds.
"The response to our headcovers at the Masters was overwhelming. We knew that we had a hit on our hands when we saw images of the TOURevolution headcovers all over golf message boards" Hydorn said. "We’re excited to formally launch the headcovers at the biggest show for the golf industry".
Back Nine USA will be exhibiting at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show for the first time in the New Company Discovery Zone section of the Show floor in booth 4288 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from January 25-27, 2007.
