Golfers Who Purchase A Pack Of PulsarT Cleats Will Receive 24 Issues Of Golf World Magazine; Promotion Follows Highly Successful 2006 Pulsar/Golf Digest Campaign And Enhances PrideSports Commitment To Cleat Changing Awareness Among Golfers
Gaithersburg, Maryland, January 19, 2007 . PrideSports, maker of SoftspikesR golf cleats and the #1 golf cleat brand on the PGA TOUR, today announced it has renewed its partnership with Golf Digest Publications, whereby golfers purchasing a pack of PulsarT cleats will receive 24 issues of Golf World Magazine.
The promotion is an extension of a highly successful 2006 partnership between PrideSports and Golf Digest Publications which enabled consumers to purchase a pack of PulsarT cleats and receive a 12-month subscription to Golf Digest. The 2007 Pulsar/Golf World campaign, much like the Pulsar/Golf Digest program in 2006, is designed to promote cleat changing by rewarding golfers for purchasing a pack of replacement cleats.
As part of the promotion, PrideSports will place Point of Purchase displays at thousands of U.S.-based retail establishments which carry Softspikes-brand cleats. Golfers purchasing Pulsar cleats at these retail outlets during 2007 will receive a special code inside the pack of cleats that can be used to redeem their 24-month subscription to Golf World. This marketing initiative is similar to the campaign PrideSports initiated in 2006, which resulted in tens of thousands of incremental packs of cleats purchased by consumers.
