Adams Golf Wins Wood, Fairway Wood and Hybrid Count on Champions Tour

PLANO, TEXAS, January 22, 2007 – Adams Golf (OTCBB:ADGO) hybrids were played by more PGA TOUR pros at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, including the champion of the event, than any other manufacturers’ hybrid, according to the Darrell Survey.

Additionally, more than 58% of Champions Tour pros playing the Mastercard Championship in Hualalai, Hawaii, played Adams Golf hybrids making it the #1 hybrid on tour. Adams Golf also claimed the overall wood count, and fairway wood count at the event.

"Winning the hybrid count on the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour last week just adds to a very exciting start to the year for our company," said Tim Reed, Adams Golf Vice President of R&D. "This is the second time in the last six months that we’ve had the #1 hybrid played on the PGA TOUR. Our growing presence on the PGA TOUR is a great complement to the success we enjoyed in 2006 having the #1 hybrid on the Nationwide Tour, #1 hybrid on the Champions Tour and #2 hybrid on the PGA TOUR."

More than 25% of the total hybrids played at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic were Adams Golf hybrids, including the new Idea Pro, recently awarded the "Editors’ Choice" in the 2007 Golf Digest Hot List. Along with the champion of the tournament playing an 18-degree Idea hybrid, 3 other Top 15 finishers played Adams Golf hybrids, including Adams Tour Staff Pro, Bernhard Langer, who played a 15-degree Idea Pro.

The total amount of hybrids played by tour pros continues to increase with each PGA event. There were 86 total hybrids in play at this year’s Bob Hope Chrysler Classic compared to only 51 in play last year. Additionally, there were 340 hybrids played by the 513 amateurs participating in the event, according to the Darrell Survey.
