Inaugural Fall Collection Leaves its Mark on Golf’s Next Generation

(SEATTLE, WA) January 23, 2006 – Hot on the heels of its debut, CBUK delivers a Fall collection destined to please the next generation of golfers and fashionable men who push the style envelope. Like its wearer, the spirit of CBUK makes a statement with its blend of unique design elements and performance fabric technologies. CBUK provides the ideal solution for today’s golfers whose lifestyle requires multi-functional fashion, addressing the need for modern, statement sportswear, blending functionality and fashion to provide fluidity for all endeavors.

"CBUK maintains Cutter & Buck’s high quality standards for premium fabrics, durable construction, and superior attention to detail as does our mainstream golf offering," said Julie Snow, vice president of design and merchandising for Cutter & Buck. "The CBUK customer likes to challenge traditional golf apparel, but still requires all the benefits of technical golf apparel and quality sportswear."

The versatility of CBUK offerings is enhanced through Cocona Natural Technology, an advanced hybrid-carbon technology that works by permanently embedding activated carbon derived from coconut shells into fiber and yarns to deliver one of the most effective moisture management systems available with added benefits of unsurpassed cooling and drying, odor control and UPF protection.

Another standout among CBUK’s performance offerings is NanoTex Coolest Comfort, which delivers excellent performance through advanced moisture wicking. NanoTex uses nanotechnology to transform the molecular structures of fibers, resulting in fabrics that draw moisture away from the skin and balance body temperature, all while retaining the fabrics natural softness and breathe-ability.

The Fall 2007 CBUK offering will include two collections, Route 18 and Hawthorne, each with distinctively different sources of inspiration, with a common bond of innovative performance fabrics and active silhouettes for maximum versatility. Unique design elements like scorecard tags and prints, irreverent novelty details, off-center logo placement, contrast double stitching and pieced construction are also found throughout both collections.
