Lead By Top 100 Instructors David Leadbetter, Chuck Cook, Martin Hall, Mitchell Spearman, Todd Sones, Mike Malaska, Fred Griffin, Ron Gring and Bill Forrest, K-VEST Introduced To More Than 500 Teaching Professionals At 2007 PGA Show
Bedford, New Hampshire, January 30, 2007 â?¦ Bentley Kinetics, Inc., the leader in the field of wireless motion analysis, and developer of the K-VESTâ?¢, a first of its kind golf instructional system, today announced that the Company conducted more than 500 product demonstrations with golf professionals during the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.
Lead by an elite group of more than (ten) 10 Top 100 PGA Professionals, including David Leadbetter, Chuck Cook, and Martin Hall, Bentley Kinetics provided 20-minute demos to golf instructors, while introducing the entire golf industry to the revolutionary K-VEST technology, which enables instructors to more effectively analyze the golf swing in 3-D and provide real-time feedback via auditory and visual feedback.
"We went into the PGA Show expecting heavy traffic at our booth, but we were astonished at the response and demo participation from golf Professionals during the three day exhibition," said Michael Bentley, Founder & CTO, Bentley Kinetics. "Backed by a stable of Top 100 PGA professionals who have now introduced the K-VEST into their teaching curriculums, golf instructors from around the world were able to see first-hand why K-VEST technology is the future of golf instruction."
With many top golf professionals and coaches transitioning from video based instruction systems to 3-D based systems, K-VEST — a portable system — offers the ability to analyze the golf swing in 3-D to more effectively identify swing patterns that cannot be seen with the human eye or video.
Among the PGA Professionals who appeared at the Bentley Kinetics booth and conducted K-VEST demonstrations were: David Leadbetter, Chuck Cook, Martin Hall, Mitchell Spearman, Todd Sones, Mike Malaska, Fred Griffin, Ron Gring, and 2006 PGA Teacher of the year, Bill Forrest. The Top 50 women instructors included Kelli Kostick and Darlene Sommer.
Bentley Kinetics also utilized the PGA Show to further introduce the Company’s Kinetic Swing Certification Program, an initiative designed to educate PGA/LPGA Professionals and coaches to the Kinetic Swing Systemâ?¢, a science-based instruction program that utilizes the company’s K-VEST technology to effectively improve swing efficiency. Supported by more than 16 years of research pertaining to the measurement and improvement of a golfer’s kinetic chain, Bentley’s team of golf professionals, human motion experts and top biomechanical specialists have developed a curriculum that utilizes its K-VEST technology and Kinetic Swing System to empower teachers. The certification program will educate coaches on the overall benefits of measuring a golf swing in three (3) dimensions, and specifically focus on measuring and improving the kinetic chain.

About K-VEST
The K-VEST, which can be used indoors or outdoors, with or without a video camera, utilizes three (3) wireless sensors strategically placed on the golfer’s hip, shoulder, and hand. These sensors communicate with Bentley’s proprietary KINESYNCâ?¢ software on a laptop computer to display live video and 3-D animation. The instructor and/or player simply record a swing and, within seconds, the software generates a complete 3-D swing analysis allowing the user to quickly identify swing faults. The exercise mode is then used to provide real-time audio, visual, and kinesthetic feedback to optimize performance.
