Over 200 golf courses have now signed up for the new course directory program on GOLF.com
TeeTimeWatch.com announced today that the Monarch Dunes Golf Club, in Nipomo, California is the 200th course to sign for the new enhanced online course directory program, which they are managing on behalf of GOLF.com.
The program, which launched last month, gives courses the opportunity to obtain premium placement in GOLF.com’s course finder (www.GOLF.com/coursefinder) , the most used golf course search engine on the Internet with approximately 200,000 searches taking place each month. Course Finder provides golf course search for GOLF.com’s entire network of websites including Golf.com, Golfonline.com and Sports Illustrated’s SI.com Golf Plus.
Monarch Dunes (www.monarchdunesgolf.com), managed by KemperSports, is situated 80 miles north of Santa Barbara in the southern end of San Luis Obispo County and was recently chosen as one of GOLF MAGAZINE’s Top 10 New Courses You Can Play.
"TeeTimeWatch.com puts a course front and center when golfers search to play in a particular area," stated Chris Schwartz, KemperSports regional sales and marketing director. "This kind of targeted marketing is necessary given the saturation of golf courses in today’s market."
Northbrook, Ill.-based KemperSports operates golf facilities as well as athletic clubs and lodging venues nationwide, including nationally ranked courses and tournament venues such as Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Dorado Beach Resort & Club, The Glen Club, Gillette Ridge, Harding Park, Bolingbrook Golf Club and Desert Willow, in addition to a number of major sporting events.
